The island of Capri is a hit with the rich and famous thanks to its designer
boutiques and high-end restaurants, but there’s much more to the island than you
might think. Capri Town is the place that made Capri a household name, with
terracotta buildings and cobbled lanes packed with cafés and boutiques. Often
overlooked in favour of its glitzy neighbour, sleepy Anacapri has kept its local
charm despite being just a short bus ride from Capri Town. Whitewashed buildings
and tree-lined lanes make up much of the centre, with a few artisan workshops
humming with activity.
