Plant Life
Kew Gardens is currently celebrating botanical art and 30 years of
the Shirley Sherwood Collection with a glorious exhibition that
brings together work from across the world. This exhibition will run
until Sunday offering a unique perspective on plant life, allowing
us to admire the exquisite details of endangered plants and newly
discovered species. With works from Beverly Allen and Pandora
Sellars, there is every kind of subject matter from the
delicate and subtle, to the bold and theatrical. You can also
tour the gallery along with the Marianne North Gallery
every Wednesday and Saturday at 12.30pm to learn the
stories behind the artworks and the people who created
them. Or if you’re feeling inspired by the exhibition there is
also a two day course from Wednesday 22 to Thursday
