Soccer Leagues / Sports<br />
Youth Soccer: Ages 5/6 Co-ed<br />
Saturday<br />
Y member rate: $85<br />
Y non-member rate: $120<br />
Young athletes focus on developing basic soccer skills, team work<br />
and sportsmanship. This league is the perfect introduction to the<br />
sport of soccer. Volunteer coaches instruct children on soccer<br />
skills such as kicking and passing, while introducing basic game<br />
concepts. Games are limited to one per week and will occur on a<br />
Saturday or Sunday. A shirt and end of season participation award<br />
is included with registration.<br />

Youth Soccer: Ages 7/8 Co-ed<br />
Saturday<br />
Y member rate: $85<br />
Y non-member rate: $120<br />
This youth league focuses on continuing the development of basic<br />
soccer skills, team work and sportsmanship for children of every<br />
ability. While advancing the participant’s footwork skills in kicking,<br />
passing and shooting, volunteer coaches also lead soccer practice<br />
drills and teach game strategies. There is one practice during the<br />
week and one game on Saturday or Sunday. A shirt and end of<br />
season participation award is included with registration.<br />
Depending on participant numbers, travel for games may be<br />
required.<br />
