Baseball / Sports Youth Coach Pitch: Ages 6/7 Co-ed Saturday Y member rate: $85 Y non-member rate: $120 Here's the pitch...all kids get the chance to hit and play the field in this fun-filled instructional league. Volunteer coaches will lead kids through drills that teach the basics; throwing, catching, and hitting. This league focuses on the development of individual skills, rules, and character that will challenge every child's ability. Volunteer coaches will lead the participants through the season, utilizing a curriculum that considers the physical, mental, and emotional stages of development. The season begins with multiple Skills and Drills sessions. The sessions allow coaches and staff to work with kids in small groups to prepare for the season, and for some age groups, to make evaluations for the benefit of competitive balance of teams. Basketball Clinics / Sports Preschool Basketball Saturday Y member rate: $55 Y non-member rate: $95 With a focus on developing basic basketball skills, team work and sportsmanship, this league is perfect for young children of every ability. Volunteer coaches, mindful of the participants? age, instruct on basketball skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Practices and games are limited to one per week and occur on a Saturday or Sunday. A shirt and end of season participation award is included with registration. Ages: 3-5 95158 Gymnasium - North/South Sat, April 18, 2020 - Sat, June 13, 2020 Basketball Leagues / Sports Youth Basketball: Ages 11/12 Boys Saturday Y member rate: $85 Y non-member rate: $120 Pre-teen boys love this basketball league, which focuses on advancing basic skills during practices and play-making and strategies during basketball games. Volunteer coaches focus on basketball skills, as well as emphasizing team work and sportsmanship. There is one practice during the week and one game on Saturday or Sunday.
