established. After much reflection<br />
on all the lessons learned from our<br />
first event I made the decision to try<br />
again and move the Walnut Trade<br />
Show to Yuba City due to the volume<br />
of walnut acres in the area. To my<br />
pleasant surprise we were able to<br />
gather over 200 attendees. I will<br />
forever be grateful for all of the 200<br />
attendees who came to that event<br />
as it was a turning point in the<br />
momentum of the publication and<br />
company. Each year after, the Walnut<br />
Trade Show continued to have steady<br />
growth. The population of attendees,<br />
exhibitors and quality seminars<br />
has grown each year and has been<br />
getting closer to the ultimate goal of<br />
being the conference of the year for<br />
the walnut industry. In 2019 I felt<br />
like it was time to take the Walnut<br />
Trade Show to the next level and<br />
rebrand it as the California Walnut<br />
Conference. Shortly after the rebrand<br />
and launch of the California Walnut<br />
Conference I was pleased to hear<br />
from the California Walnut Board<br />
about their desire to collaborate with<br />
West Coast Nut to further enhance<br />
the effort to build a first class event<br />
for the walnut industry. As a result<br />
we were able to revamp the agenda<br />
and expand the conference education<br />
opportunities. Nearly 1,000<br />
attendees were in attendance for this<br />
year’s conference, which is a new<br />
record. What a dream come true<br />
for JCS Marketing, Inc., West Coast<br />
Nut, and the walnut industry. I look<br />
forward to many more years of growth<br />
and success for this wonderful industry.<br />
I would like to express a special<br />

you for your help with growing West<br />
Coast Nut. Because of your support<br />
West Coast Nut now reaches over<br />
16,000 subscribers and hosts seven<br />
live educational events throughout the<br />
state, which makes West Coast Nut<br />
the gold standard for publications and<br />
trade shows in California and the West<br />
Coast.<br />
