Madagascar construit son premier terrain en plein milieu
de paysages montagneux vosgiens dans la ville d’eau en
1935. Mais les golfeurs passionnés ont, en 1986, réhabilité
le site vallonné d’un très beau parcours connu actuellement
sous le nom Antsirabe Golf Club en le couvrant de verdure.
Aujourd’hui, Madagascar possède quatre autres clubs
de golf où les professionnels et amateurs peuvent jouer,
s'exercer et progresser. Ce sont notamment l’international
Golf du Rova (Le golf malgache avec ses 18 trous parsemés
d’obstacles naturels), Malaza Golf Club (5ha dans la
banlieue Ouest. Un club qui programme toute une gamme
de cours et de stages). Il existe aussi Pearl International Golf
Course Nosy Be, un club assez récent dans la filière mais
qui possède un parcours caractérisé par un terrain vallonné
près de la côte, offrant des panoramas spectaculaires sur
Nosy-Be. Il comporte 18 trous répartis sur un terrain de 60
hectares. A cela, s’ajoute l'Azura Golf Club , le seul terrain de
golf de bord de mer à Madagascar. Un écrin de verdure où
vous pouvez driver tout en écoutant le murmure du ressac,
la plage de Foulpointe et son magnifique lagon à vos pieds.

Madagascar built its first course in the middle of the
Vosges mountainous landscapes in the water city
in 1935. In 1986, the hilly site of a beautiful course
currently known as Antsirabe Golf Club was created
by covering it with greenery. Now Madagascar has four
other golf clubs where professionals and amateurs
can play, practise and progress. These are notably the
international Golf du Rova (the Malagasy golf course
with its 18 holes dotted with natural obstacles) and
Malaza Golf Club (five hectare in the western suburbs
with a club that programmes a whole range of courses
and internships). There is also Pearl International Golf
Course Nosy Be, a fairly new venue in the sector, which
has a course characterised by a hilly terrain near the
coast, offering spectacular views of Nosy Be. It has 18
holes spread over a 60 hectare course. In addition, there
is the Azura Golf Club, the only seaside golf course in
Madagascar, a green setting where you can drive while
listening to the murmur of the surf with the beach of
Foulpointe and its magnificent lagoon at your feet.
