Avec ces superbes parcours, les golfeurs à Madagascar ont
régulièrement d’excellents résultats lors des compétitions.
Des joueuses et joueurs de renom portent même haut les
couleurs du golf malgache. Par exemple Ony Marchand, Luc
Manampisoa Rakotonjanahary,
le couple Ratsimbazafy et la
famille Rabetsaroana joueurs
de golf de renommée nationale.
Il y a également Jean-Baptiste
Ramarozatovo qui évolue dans
la cour des grands du monde du
golf mondial, ayant récemment
réussi un exploit : se hisser parmi
les dix premiers de la première
édition du MCB tour Championship
Madagascar. Elle se déroulait du
28 novembre au 1er décembre
2019 au Golf du Rova Andakana
en présence de 48 professionnels
venant des quatre coins du
monde. En honneur aux sponsors
principaux, un tournoi intitulé Pro-
Am Air Madagascar a réuni lors de
cette compétition internationale
d'envergure, une vingtaine
d’équipes composées chacune de
3 amateurs qui jouaient avec les
meilleurs pros. Aujourd’hui la jeune
génération est en marche avec à sa
tête, par exemple, Emery Maverick.
Les membres de l'Association des golfeurs professionnels
comprennent Johary Raveloarison, Leslie Grandet et Maverick
Faber, Ony Marchand suit une formation de trois ans offrant
un diplôme pour devenir professionnel de golf.

With these great courses, golfers in Madagascar regularly
have excellent results in competitions. Renowned players
even wear the colours of Malagasy golf. For example, we
have Ony Marchand, Luc Manampisoa Rakotonjanahary,
the Ratsimbazafy couple and
the Rabetsaroana family as
nationally known golf players.
There is also Jean-Baptiste
Ramarozatovo who plays with
the greats of the world of golf,
having recently achieved the
feat to be among the top 10
in the first edition of the MCB
Tour Championship Madagascar.
This competition took place
from 28th November to 1st
December, 2019 at the Golf du
Rova Andakana in the presence
of 48 professionals from around
the world. In honour of the main
sponsors, a tournament called
Pro-Am Air Madagascar brought
together 20 teams for this major
international competition, each
composed of three amateurs who
played with the best pros. Today
the younger generation is on
the march over the greens with
Emery Maverick at the head.
Members of the Professional Golfers Association
include Johary Raveloarison, Leslie Grandet and
Maverick Faber, Ony Marchand is following a threeyear
training course offering a diploma to become a golf
professional.
