in the description of each. The theme is winter.<br />

This co-ed group meets monthly. Refreshments<br />

• We Joy Sing Heart Strings. Sign-ups<br />

will begin soon. Classes will meet on<br />

Wednesday mornings March 4-April 29.<br />

Two classes weekly will include age groups<br />

of infants through 5 years old.<br />

• Mysteries at the Manor Club. The<br />

group will discuss “The Adventure of the<br />

Golden Pince-nez” at 2 p.m. March 15 at the<br />

home of Casey O’Neill.<br />

Open Studio<br />

Area residents are invited to join the<br />

London Visual Arts Guild (LVAG) for open<br />

studio from 4 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday,<br />

weather permitting. Studio 7 is located at 7<br />

E. High St., London, and is free and open to<br />

the public. Bring your own art project to<br />

work on. Often, teachers are on hand to help<br />

or just talk about art.<br />

LVAG will continue to have Tuesday free<br />

sessions until the gallery moves in May to<br />

its new location at 121 E. First St., the former<br />

London City Schools vocational agriculture<br />

building.<br />

The guild’s 6th Annual Community Show<br />

will take place at the new location. Area residents<br />

are invited to exhibit in this show.<br />

• Bluegrass Jam. Bluegrass players and<br />

fans are invited to make some noise from<br />

6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 24. All skill levels are<br />

welcome. Can’t play or sing? Just come and<br />

listen.<br />

• Role Playing Games 101. This indepth<br />

five-session experience will teach participants<br />

how to set up and execute a<br />

role-playing game. Representatives from<br />

FAST Gaming will guide players in their<br />

character development and run participants<br />

through four levels of increasing difficulty<br />

to strengthen their characters. Registrants<br />

must be able to attend all five sessions or be<br />

prepared to send a proxy in their place because<br />

an absence would negatively affect<br />

the remaining party. Seats for this experience<br />

FOR PROPOSED MAJOR<br />

UTILITY FACILITY<br />

Big Plain Solar, LLC, an affiliate of First Solar, Inc., will be holding a second<br />

public information meeting regarding plans to build the <strong>Madison</strong> Solar Farm,<br />

a 196-megawatt state-of-the-art solar electric generating facility. The proposed<br />

electric generating facility will be located near the intersection of Big Plain<br />

Circleville Road (County Road 4) and Glade Run Road (County Road 70)<br />

on approximately 1,500 acres in Fairfield and Oak Run Townships in<br />

<strong>Madison</strong> County. The new facility will generate electricity and interconnect<br />

with the regional transmission grid to supply the region with power.<br />

Construction of the facility is scheduled to commence during the first quarter<br />

of 2021. The project is scheduled to be in service by the third quarter of<br />

2022.<br />

The public information meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.<br />

on Wednesday, March 4, <strong>2020</strong> at the Fairfield Township Hall, which is<br />

located at 9100 Big Plain Circleville Road, London, OH 43140. Company<br />

representatives will be present to discuss the proposed facility and answer<br />

questions.<br />

Treasurer’s Office until 4:00 P.M. Monday, March 2nd, <strong>2020</strong>.<br />

• Mailed payments must be postmarked by the Post Office<br />

by midnight Monday, March 2nd, <strong>2020</strong>.<br />

• By law, first-half taxes paid after March 2nd, <strong>2020</strong>, will incur<br />

5% penalty for the first ten days and after ten days: a 10% penalty<br />

will incur regardless of whether the taxpayer has received a bill.<br />
