This is a one-day program
that consists of Rules of the
Road (9-10:30 a.m.), a free
review of the current traffic
laws and the information
that is needed to obtain a
new or renew a driver’s license;
a free vision screening
(9 a.m.-1 p.m.), for
anyone who is renewing
a driver’s license within
90 days of the date of the
program and the Mobile
Drivers Facility (9 a.m.-1
p.m.), where seniors can
obtain or renew the Illinois
Identification Card, renew
a Driver’s License (must
be under 75 years old, no
road test given) and register
to vote. There will be a
charge for the licenses and
ID Card. Cash will not be
accepted. No written test
will be given. Real IDs are
not available at the mobile
driver’s facility.
Racism Book Discussion

Crow” by Michelle Alexander.
Alexander presents
the case that slavery may
have been abolished in
1865 with the 13th Amendment,
but the U.S. criminal
justice system functions as

In this class, you will
learn from experts at The
Conservation Foundation
about the benefits of using
rain barrels, how to
use them correctly, and
then assemble your own
55 gallon barrel to take
home! All tools/supplies
will be provided. Please
have a way to transport
your barrel home. The fee
is per barrel, so feel free to
bring along family members
to learn about rain barrels
and the many benefits
they provide. Fee is $65 for
residents and $70 for nonresidents.

justice system, certain

strange and difficult.

these crimes are members
of an elite squad known
as the Sensitive Crimes
Division. No case is too
unusual, too complicated,
or too insignificant for this
