BCE SC3RAV 2011 Seismic Data Analysis Software Chapter 5 Utilities The Utilities menu option consists of sub-menus Default Graphical User Interface (GUI) Settings, Sensor Type and Units, and Shear Modulus Calculation. These software features allow the user to specify general interface settings, the type of recorded seismic data (i.e., accelerometer or geophone), enable the ability to implement time delay corrections within Depth Profiling, and calculate and store Gmax values. 5.1 Default GUI Settings The Default GUI Settings dialog box is shown in Figure 49. Here the user can specify the minimum and maximum frequency axis values, as well as the precision, the number of digits and the increment for both the vertical amplitude axis and the horizontal time axis. The minimum and maximum frequency axis values are used for the Crosscorrelation- >Manual Filtering frequency display and the View->Seismic Data frequency display. The default settings for these frequencies are zero and the Nyquist frequency (1/2Δ, where Δ is the sampling rate) respectively. If the user wishes to change these values, then check box Enable should be checked and the appropriate minimum and maximum frequencies should be specified. Figure 49: Default GUI Settings The precision, the number of digits and the increment for both the vertical amplitude axis and the horizontal time axis are used for all charts displayed within SC1-RAV. These settings are then stored within configuration file SC3-RAV.ini so that they will be implemented whenever SC1- RAV is used. Version 11.1.0 Page 31

The density values and Gmax values are then stored within the interval velocity file as new column entries.
