Carrara Marble, 62 cm excluding the pedestal / 84 cm with the<br />
pedestal<br />
This bust is directly related to a small bust in terracotta found<br />
on the fireplace in the house of the restorer-sculptor, Antonio<br />
Fontana (Rome 1641-1700) and attributed to Ferrata by Bianca<br />
Di Gioia.<br />
A small silver model of the Saint Carlo bust attributed to Algardi,<br />
now in the Daniels Collection in New York, is also attributed<br />
to Ferrata by Di Gioia.<br />
