The most anticipated product of the year<br />
�The new 13 inch MacBook Air outperforms its predecessors<br />
by a wide margin and it would <strong>no</strong>t be wrong to admit that the<br />
product is completely apt for mainstream use in place of giving<br />
it a tag of being only a niche product.<br />
As is the case with most of the Apple products, MacBook Air<br />
has also been a part of the annual update cycle, which took it<br />
from original niche product version to its new avatar as being<br />
the Apple’s mainstream laptop line. Mainstreaming of systems<br />
components and its capabilities has also been seen over the<br />
period of three generations.<br />
Apple’s new Air models with all their advantages hold same<br />
prices as last year, starting at $1199 for the 13-inch model.<br />
With dramatic up gradation in the processing capacity, the latest<br />
2nd generation Core i5 processor of the base 13 inch Air is<br />
a leap of two Intel generations, jumping directly from the Core<br />
2 Duo processors over the 1st generation Core i5/i7 chips to<br />
the 2nd generation Core i-series.<br />
