Classic dive watches are mechanical or quartz
analog models.
Dive computers which are best
suited watches to a scuba diver.
They do everything a dive computer
does (tracks your depth
and dive time plus enriched air
compatible) and display
time conjointly.
This is done by
keeping a time record
with
your dive
watch.
There
a r e
three
basic
styles:
Digital
watches
that are
water resistant
to 200 meters or
more. They’re suited
to scuba diving and
are extremely inexpensive.
To enlighten your dives at night, if you have
courage enough, you may need a dive light.
Even at day swimming deep into the waters,
it may illuminate the cracks and crevices. Dive
lights are also used for exploring the inside of
wrecks, underwater caverns and caves which
undoubtedly are a brain twister.
After all these accessories comes the heart
of your equipment, namely Scuba Unit. It combines
a scuba tank of compressed air, dive regulator
that supplies air to you; BCD (Buoyancy
Control Device) that lets you float or descend
at will and also acts as a harness, and lastly
integrated weight system for added convenience.
Scuba tank is a cylinder filled with compressed
breathing air that you use during the dive. Made
from aluminum alloy, your dive regulator is attached
to this cylinder. The regulator takes high
pressure air from scuba tank and adjusts it to
the pressure you need for breathing.
BCD as mentioned above is for maintaining
your balance and weight already loaded with
the gear.
