13.6 Prototype Development<br />

Initially, several prototypes from different<br />

materials such as PMMA, polypropylene,<br />

polyimide acetyl (used in heart valves) and<br />

Flexeon materials were made using different<br />

techniques such as etching and assembling.<br />
