June 18, <strong>2013</strong>, Roberts Creek Arts Festival, <strong>ZOOM</strong><br />
photo booth at Nicospacraft, one of the festival<br />
venues: I asked festival-goers to smile for the<br />
camera and be part of this special photo spread. It<br />
was a simple, no-fuss photo setup, using available<br />
natural light, with camera in automatic mode. No<br />
mirror to check hair and makeup or to practise a<br />
smile. Not expecting good technical results, but<br />
wishing simply to capture people’s natural smiles. It<br />
was a fun experience meeting new people and taking<br />
their photos. It was fun to again relive the experience<br />
while putting together the layouts. I was smiling,<br />
too, throughout the entire task. Who wouldn’t when<br />
