franchise business model,

Rolling Thunder banner.

design and innovation
focus towards their brand
new dealership.
After considerable
planning, and in
anticipation of many
upcoming new Harley-
Davidson models
launching in the coming
years, the R/T HD Team
built a world-leading and
forward leaning prototype
dealership design.
The new R/T HD
dealership design moves
away from traditional
obsolete dealership
floor-plans and boldly
shifts towards a future
that incorporates features
specifically designed to
welcome everyone from
the moment they enter
the dealership.
Externally, R/T HD’s jewel
box design, new format
signage, endless windows,
and the beacon of a
very unique and massive
Harley-Davidson Bar &
Shield sign above the
entrance beckon all to
enter.
On entry, guests are
warmly greeted with
polished concrete floors
and unmatched natural
light creating a very
welcoming atmosphere.
The team at R/T HD
worked hard to replicate
the same inclusively
welcoming and warm
experience of an Apple
Store, but for all things
motorcycle.
In order to encourage
guests to take their time
and enjoy the experience,
tables and chairs are
scattered throughout the
art gallery like showroom
floor.
And to top it off,
there is a unique self
service coffee counter
using Harley-Davidson
engines as coffee
machines that must be
seen to be believed, a
genuine masterpiece of
experiential pop art.
