top of Jeffries’ ’11 calf crop, posting a 652 AWW and
106 WR.
Her sire, Basin EXT 8926, stacks some of the best
genetics from both the Red and Black herdbooks,
including EXT, Cherokee Cnyn, Glacier Logan and
Gardens Sensation.
Maternally, she comes from a Canadian bred dam
that stacks such notable sires as Towaw Matrix, SSS
Boomer and Geis Prime Rib. With a 103.3 MPPA she
is now in the ET donor program at Jeffries.

Here is a real talking piece! Ms Chinook Y929 is a
tank… one of the top performers from the Jeffries herd
with a 722 AWW and 118 WR! Her EPD package is as
balanced as you will find across the board, and her 51
TM ranks her in the elite top 1% of the breed.
Her sire, Bieber H Hughes W109, could be one of the
best kept secrets in the breed. A top performer and
seller in Bieber’s 2010 offering, W109’s first calves have
posted impressive figures, with only a 98 ABR and a
104 AWR! He sired the top selling open heifer at
Jeffries this past September, going to Tres Marias in
Mexico, for $4,750.
Her dam, Chinook 8459, is a top young daughter of
Basin EXT 5233, the exciting growth and ribeye leader
that topped Stevenson’s ’06 offering to Murray Dighans
in Montana. 8459 has earned a 106 MPPA with a 110
AWR on her first two calves.
