JKC Cherok 124Y – Lot 38
I can honestly say it gets harder and harder for us to part with these 22L
daughters. This time it actually came down to a family vote. So we are selling
full possession on 124Y but retaining two flushes. Her full sisters keep raising
the bar on what we think 22L can produce, but just as impressive are her full
brothers. One of them, JKC Top Gun 107Y, will also be in our stalls in Denver.
Make sure you stop by and take a look at him; six more brothers will sell in
the 41st Annual Brylor Bull Sale in Alberta. Her sister JKC FAF Mercedes
103W was just named Cow Calf Champion at NAILE 2011, she was Calf
Champion at NAILE in 2010. She was also Reserve Champion at the NWSS
in 2010 and Reserve Senior Champion at NWSS 2011. Her other full sister
JKC Ducati 106Y topped our first ever female Auction “The Red Event” for
$10,000 Labor Day weekend to 5-L Livestock, Walton, KS. The pick of fall ET
siblings sold in Mile High Sale 2011 to Wildcat Creek for $10,000. A flush
mate to those calves 122X was the high selling live lot in Mulberry Mayhem
for $15,000 half interest. Her oldest full sister 19U sold for $7,500 as a calf at
Tradition with a Vision 2008. The same day we purchased her dam 22L for
$10,000 with Fair Acres Stock Farm, Minnesota. 19 U was Senior Calf
Champion at Farmfair and Agribition and Senior Yearling Champion at the
World Angus Forum 2009. What is even more impressive, her first bull calf
Brylor WRAZ Mak'n Waves topped the 40th Annual Brylor Bull Sale at
$47,500, and we purchased him with 5-L Livestock Walton, KS. The plan all
along for 124Y was to be in the Mile High Sale, because like many of the Mulberry calves she was green for awhile and now only continues to get better. She has all the potential of
her mother and sisters, but she may be the best one yet! Her look, body, and shape combine into a sound high performing female that will make her your leading donor or show
female. Don't miss an opportunity to own this female from one of the greatest cow families to come out of the Brylor program. She is also eligible for the futurity at NAJRA Event.
Two of our customers were Champion and Reserve Champion Futurity winners at the 2011 NAJRAS winning $1,500 and $1,000 respectfully.
RRA Phyllis 47 116 – Lot 37
Phyllis 116 is a powerful heifer with great spring of rib
and lots of capacity. Her length of body and expression
of muscling and thickness is well balanced in a nicely
designed package. Her paternal sisters are becoming
one of the most sought after commodities in the Red
Angus world, combining explosive growth with
exceptional udder design and milk production. Her
worth as a “building tool” for a future cow herd is truly
immeasurable. Her dam – WCC Phyllis 47 has
generated over $60,000 in revenue for the Rich Red
Angus program in only 5 years. As seedstock breeders,
we “reap what we sow” and investments in females like
Phyllis 47 116 will make the difference between being
just another purebred operation or being a breed
leading program with unmatched genetic depth.
Selling 50% embryo interest –
no possession.
