What type of food do you serve?<br />
Smoked ribs, brisket, pork loin,<br />
shredded pork, smoked meat loaf,<br />
chicken breast (halves / shredded),<br />
jalapeno sausage links. We also carry<br />
sides. House prepared smoked baked<br />
beans, smoky cream cheese corn and<br />
hash brown casserole. We also carry<br />
mustard potato salad, sour cream and<br />
bacon potato salad and coleslaw. We<br />
also carry Coursey’s smoked bacon,<br />
cheese, turkey, ham and summer<br />
sausage, as well as carrying Petit Jean<br />
products.<br />
What sets you apart from other<br />
restaurants? WE ARE A SMALL<br />
FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS. We<br />
wanted to provide quality smoked<br />
meats to our community. Our meats<br />
and house sides are cooked from start<br />
to finish over open flames. No stoves<br />
or ovens. Our smoked food is the<br />
original authentic way smoked food is<br />
supposed to be.<br />
What was your inspiration for owning<br />
business? I have always had the drive<br />
to own my own business. I’ve said<br />
many times, “I never went to college<br />
but was in the Navy. That helped form<br />
my work ethic—it gave me the mindset<br />
that to fail is not an option.” In 2004<br />
I opened K & C Power Washing and<br />
am still currently running that business<br />
today. In 2016 we purchased a property<br />
storage building property and renamed<br />
it to K & C Storage. This is where Grab<br />
& Go is currently. Smoking meats was<br />
something I loved to do at home, and<br />
for Antioch, our home church.<br />
Our Specials: We offer daily specials.<br />
They all come with a pound of meat<br />
(you pick), two sides and our house<br />
sauce. All food is smoked/cooked,<br />
packaged and ready to eat. We provide<br />
customers with warming instructions.<br />
