Counseling & Wellness CenterHow we work:The Counseling & Wellness Center(CWC) addresses mental health,emotional, or interpersonal concernsthat might get in the way of yourprogress and well-being at CCAD. Wesupport you as you learn how to think,do, and thrive, so you can focus less onproblems and more on becoming theamazing artist, designer, and humanyou are here to be.Who we are:The CWC team is made up of mentalhealth therapists who are ableto diagnose and treat mental andemotional health concerns.When & where to see us:• CWC open Monday–Friday,9 a.m.–5 p.m.• Located on the first floor of Cranein the Student Affairs HallwayContact us at 614.222.4000 or visitmy.ccad.edu/counseling.22Orientation 2020What we do:• Individual counseling• Group counseling• Crisis intervention• Collaboration with hospitals andoutside providers• Consultation for students who areworried about others• Wellness education andprevention programs• Sexual and relationship violenceservices and advocacy referrals• Yoga and meditation class• Referals to outside therapistsfor certain specialized services,higher levels of care, or if CWCcannot accommendate all studentsrequesting services.All CWC services are confidentialand free.What students say:“The way CWC handles their clients andthe environment provided for studentsthere are so relaxing.
