Residence Life
You’ll feel right at home and at the center of our
community in our residence halls. CCAD is dedicated
to its first-year residency requirement, which has
been proven to enhance students’ success and foster
friendships on campus. All new students must live in
the residence halls during their first year of enrollment
unless they qualify for an exemption. You must
complete an online housing application or request
exemption via the incoming student portal (Slate).
Schottenstein Residence Hall provides a close-knit
community experience for incoming students to make
meeting new people easy and get a great start at
CCAD. Design Square Apartments primarily houses
upper-level students, however we reserve up to 24
beds for incoming students.
Residence Life Staff
The residential experience at CCAD is overseen by two
professional staff members and 13 Resident Advisors
(RAs). The role of the RA is to make connections and
to ensure the safety and security of all residents. RAs
provide educational, social, personal, and professional
assistance and appropriate referrals as needed.
