Whilst creating our initial directions, oneof our priorities was consider who exactlywe were designing for and what theirneeds were. In my concepts I focussedon two different main user groups: cancerpatients in clinical trials and the cliniciansinvolved in their care.Our future wold vision was one of collaborativepractice, where many differentstakeholders across the NHS, industryand education would come together todeliver precision medicine, enabled by anadvanced the technological framework.Within the parameters of my lens, lookingat the changing landscape of clinicaltrials, there were a number of stakeholderswho could I could have chosen tofocus on, but I felt it would be most interestingto look at the perspective ofpatients and clinicians as we had accessto experts who knew the a lot aboutthese roles.43
