• <strong>DSJ</strong> Members elect the board members, who are largely<br />
parents or previous parents of the school;<br />
• Board Members are working voluntarily and honorary for<br />
the school, even taking holiday to make themselves<br />
available, e.g. participation WDA (Lobbyist group for the<br />
German Schools Abroad in Berlin). There is no preferential<br />
treatment nor any remuneration for board members.<br />
• The primary objective –> Improvement / betterment of the<br />
<strong>DSJ</strong> situation, especially financially, and increase of learner<br />
numbers;<br />
