What can I expect during <strong>3CE</strong> enrollment?<br />

Following the beginning of service with <strong>3CE</strong>, you should see “<strong>3CE</strong> Electric Generation<br />

Charges” replacing PG&E Electric Generation Charges on your electric bill. All eligible<br />

electricity customers will receive mailed enrollment notifications 60 and 30 days prior<br />

to their enrollment, and 30 and 60 days after enrollment. As a commercial customer,<br />

<strong>3CE</strong> <strong>Energy</strong> Account Services Representatives are available to answer your questions or<br />

concerns regarding enrollment.<br />

What changes will I experience on my bill?<br />

There will be no new or extra charges on your bill. Prior to <strong>3CE</strong>, PG&E has been providing<br />

a bundled service and charging your business for both electric generation (creating the<br />

power) and electric transmission & distribution (delivering the power). Now, as a shared<br />

<strong>3CE</strong>/PG&E customer, these bundled charges become separated; PG&E charges for<br />

transmission & distribution appear on one page, and <strong>3CE</strong> generation charges are listed<br />

on a separate page. <strong>Your</strong> <strong>3CE</strong> charges will always be included on your PG&E billing<br />

statement. All monthly charges will continue being paid to PG&E.<br />

<strong>3CE</strong> matches all eligible rate tariffs including commercial NEM rates.

Electric Generation Service<br />

As a <strong>3CE</strong> customer, you will be enrolled in supporting clean and renewable electric generation service<br />

at competitive rates. With sustainability becoming a driver for many business decisions these days, a<br />

growing number of commercial customers are striving for Green Business Certification.<br />

3Cchoice supports community reinvestment as well as the growth of<br />

clean and renewable energy sources. All new or returning <strong>3CE</strong> customers<br />

are enrolled in 3Cchoice unless they choose to opt-up to 3Cprime.<br />

3Cprime is available for an added cost of just .8 cents per<br />

kilowatt hour (kWh) more than our default offering, 3Cchoice.<br />
