DOVERCOURT WINTER CAMPS

Registration begins Tuesday November 10, 8am, online only.
All programs run 8:30am-4:30pm for 4 days, $260/week.
Registration for partial weeks is not available.
Exciting camp activities are coming your way —with friendly, caring
camp staff and current COVID-19 protocols in place!
KINDER
Kinder (4-5yrs) camps are
designed with the needs of Junior
and Senior Kindergarteners in
mind and maintain the familiar
daily routine of school with
structured times for snack, lunch,
rest, and outdoor play.
THEME & YOUTH ZONE
Theme camp (grades 1-4) and
Youth Zone (grades 5-6) programs
include age-appropriate activities,
with active games, indoors and
outdoors, and arts and crafts
every day.
SPORTS & ART
For more focused activities, check
out Multi-Sport or Art Mix
programs, which also include a
balance of outdoor play. Each
group will have two staff and no
more than 12 children; each group
of 14 will not cross paths with any
other groups
KINDER Jr & Sr Kindergarten
Once Upon a Winter
December 21 - 24, WKIN1
Join your favourite fairy tale
characters for a winter celebration.
Dance at the Royal Winter
Ball, prepare for battle against the
mystical Ice Dragon and dive
underwater to visit a special
mermaid hot spring. Each day
includes outdoor playtime, arts
and crafts, structured snack and
lunch times with quiet/rest/storytime
after lunch.
Groovin’ into the New Year
December 28 - 31st, WKIN2
The best way to end the year is
with music and dancing! Grab a
tambourine or air guitar as we
rock out all week to our favourite
tunes. Learn and rehearse a hip
hop dance, and show off your
moves at a New Year’s Eve party!
Each day includes outdoor playtime,
arts and crafts, structured
snack and lunch times, with
quiet/rest/storytime after lunch.

THEME Grades 1 - 4
Winter Wonderland
December 21 - 24, WTHEME1
Spend the week on the snow and
try a variety of winter activities
and sports. Take a snowshoe trip
along the Ottawa River, toboggan
at Westboro Beach, and help build
a quinzhee with your friends.
Snowsuits required! This camp
takes place at the Van Lang Field
House, located at 29 Van Lang Pvt.
Trip Down Memory Lane
December 28 - 31, WTHEME2
Join us this week as we take a trip
back to our favourite camp activities
from this past year! Spend a
day in film school as we write and
record our own movie shorts,
participate in a special winter
edition of the Colour Run, travel
to the future for glow-in-the-dark
crafts, and finish off the week with
a New Year’s bash. This camp
takes place at the Van Lang Field
House, located at 29 Van Lang Pvt.
YOUTH ZONE Grades 5 - 6
Winter Youth Zone
(Grades 5-6)
December 21- 24, WYOUTH1
December 28 - 31, WYOUTH2
Spend some time in the Youth
Zone Clubhouse over the break.
Activities are geared toward kids
in grades 5-6 and include group
challenges, scavenger hunts and
games, outdoor sports, video game
time, and crafts. This camp takes
place at the McKellar Field House,
located at 539 Wavell Ave.

Unleash your creative talents this
holiday break with a mix of visual,
culinary, and performing arts,
including drawing, painting,
pottery, and drama. Great for
beginner as well as seasoned

Multi-Sport

5-7yrs - WSPORT2
Stay active over the break with a
mix of your favourite sports,
including basketball, football,
hockey, soccer and many more!
Develop fundamental sport skills
and physical literacy through
creative drills, games and outdoor
play.
