Paramedic
Online/On Campus
(Prerequisites Required)
Paramedics provide advanced
pre-hospital emergency care to
the sick or injured and possess
the knowledge and skills to
perform advanced emergency
interventions. Basic computer
skills and high-speed internet
access required. This course
meets Idaho and NREMT
standards for obtaining an
EMT-Paramedic license. Upon
successful completion of this
15-month program, students
must pass written and practical
exams for licensure. Call for

per student to meet minimum
competencies in all program

Phlebotomy
Online/On Campus
During this hybrid course you
will learn all aspects of blood
collection, including anatomy
and physiology of the vascular
system, medical ethics, legal
issues, and venipuncture. You
will also complete 100 hours of
hands-on training at regional
labs. Upon successful completion
of this course, you are eligible
to take the American Society for
Clinical Pathology, Phlebotomy
Technician exam. Cost of PTB
(ASCP) exam is not included in
course. Basic computer skills
and high-speed internet access
required. Hours: 40 classroom,
45 online, 100 clinical
