President Glen Henton gave a Special Award Trophy to Lew Jeter of
Afton, Iowa for his making the scoring devices for the horseshoe courts and
taking them to each of our Horseshoe Tournaments he can. This is the best
thing for spectator enjoyment and so each and everyone knows just what the
games are going, creating new interest in the horseshoe game.
This was a wonderful day and we had the largest turnout of an Trophy-
Picnic we have ever had.
Midwest "Ringer Round Up", Muncie, Ind.
The annual Midwest "Ringer Round Up", one of the largest of NHPA
sanctioned tournaments, will be held on the Heekin Park courts in Muncie,
Ind. July 19, 20, 21.
