Washington Ace Tops In Oregon Bryant Memorial
The Bryant Memorial "Open" tournament held at Portland, Oregon, at
Laurelhurst Park. Class A was won by John Monasmith, champion of Washington
State with 7 wins and 0 losses and 76%. Class B was won by H. Pidde,
Seattle, Washington with 6 wins and 1 loss and 61.4%. Class C was won by
C. Riley, Canby, Oregon. Class D was won by P. Zumeran, Portland, Oregon.
Due to periodic rain, wind and sunshine the games were called five or six
times throughout the tournament which hampered the players with a lower
qualifying and game percentage in their games during the day.
