San Jacinto Museum

San Jacinto Museum is situated within the San Jacinto
Monument. It was established in 1836 to preserve the
history of Texas. Its purpose was to promote relations
between the Spanish and the citizens of Texas. The
museum showcases many artifacts throughout the
history of the state to include swords and bayonets.
