West College ScotlandFoundation ApprenticeshipsLearn the skills you need for thefuture, while you’re still at schoolWhat is a FoundationApprenticeship?A Foundation Apprenticeship is an SCQF Level6 qualification. You can sit a FoundationApprenticeship over two years, starting in 5thyear or a shorter duration course starting in 5thor 6th year alongside your Highers andNational 5s.The difference is, you spend time away fromschool, at college and with an employer. So youget real, practical work experience.Get a qualification that employersrecognise and the skills you need to starta career in that industryOpen up your options after schoolYou get to work on real projects with anemployer.
