Reporting directly to the BLK Board, the overall responsibility of this role is
to provide key account management to bus operators and local government
authorities.
Based within our Moorabbin facility, this role will be responsible for the
overall strategy and success of bus sales within the key geographic regions
of Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania to support and service our already
existing customer base.
This includes the strategy for pricing and profitability, demonstration fleet
management and sales promotions.
This is a great employment opportunity for a dedicated and highly driven
individual with outstanding communication skills and a passion for
relationship management to support this position.
A strong aftermarket network is already in place, with strong investments
from BLK across both sides of the Tasman to drive sales success in this
region.
The successful candidate will have:
• Tertiary or trade qualifications.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the bus industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to give
guidance and assistance where necessary.
• A good understanding of OEM policies, operations and standards.
• Strong influential and relationship building skills.
• A proven capacity to work autonomously.
• Heavy Duty Driver’s License.
• Natural presentation and motivational skills and friendly approach with a
willingness to get their hands dirty.
