The start of a new lunar New Year brings with it a variety of resolutions. In this edition of the
Newsletter, our Primary students explain how they have resolved to be kinder in 2021. Some of our
school management team have also told us of small or random acts of kindness that they have
warmly appreciated, as well as what 'kindness' means to them personally. The saying 'Food is the
way to a person's heart' is reflected in the kindness our Primary students have shown towards their
family while making them hearty breakfasts! Reading books and a wide range of literature is a
wonderful way to empathise with other people. In this edition, our Secondary students have reflected
on how an understanding of another person’s perspective is perhaps the first step in showing
kindness towards them by being more conscious of their needs.
As we gradually increase the resumption of in-school classes, the variety of online learning and
extra-curricular activities our students engage in continues apace. In this edition of the Newsletter,
an assortment of activities are featured, including coding workshops, mentorship programmes, our
Special Dress day, and various art projects. Despite changing times, we have maintained our sharp
focus on exploiting good opportunities to learn outside the classroom; the range of activities our
students are actively involved in helps to broaden their experiences and contributes to their personal
growth.
I hope you will all enjoy our virtual Open Day, and wish you a very happy and refreshing Easter
break.
