As we promote a positive culture of kindness at CKY, we asked some of the school management
team to share a few words with the Newsletter about what kindness means to them, and any small
or random acts of kindness that they have warmly appreciated. Their short stories of kindness
should be an inspiration for how we can all make the world a slightly better place by being more
compassionate towards our fellow neighbours.
Appreciated acts of kindness: Receiving a handwritten thank you
card from a graduate to show his appreciation of my support. I
remember only going to enjoy his performance while he was
recording a music audition video, but he very much appreciated me
being there.
Kindness means: Genuine kindness is when you are willing to give
up something which you need more than the person you are
sharing it with. When you may think that you are kind enough to
treat your friend to a meal, think about a beggar who is willing to
give his only bread roll to others. Always remember that real
kindness will require courage and compassion.
Appreciated acts of kindness: 朋 友 送 我 親 手 做 的 龍 貓 公 仔 .
Kindness means: 透 過 ⼩⼼ 意 , 讓 別 ⼈ 感 受 溫 暖 和 關 ⼼.
