April is a time for new beginnings,
and we are all due for a fresh start. With
that in mind, I’d like to take a moment
to appreciate what we have, and the
opportunities that success creates.
Our community has a lot to be proud
of. In fact, I think it’s pretty obvious that

The Governor just
recently announced the
availability of vaccines to all
residents over the age of 16,
meaning we are one step
closer to getting businesses
back to business. This helps
position the economy for recovery and the
Chamber remains in touch with our state
officials, and current local trends in order
to guide businesses as they navigate new
strategies for success.
Companies large and small continue
to expand and locate in Chandler, bringing
jobs and families with them. That helps
contribute to a housing market that is
exploding in a way that we haven’t seen
for more than a decade. Arizona is a top

inbound destination in the country, and
Chandler is one of the top choices from
there. Our education partners have helped
ensure that our city is a top choice for
families who believe in quality education.
With a range of public, private and charter
schools to choose from, along with access
to a strong Community College system and
major universities, Chandler distinguishes
itself as a leading option for new businesses
and their employees.
Our City government
is financially stable and
continues to work to support
the businesses and residents
who have been hit the
hardest. In addition to the
Chamber’s longstanding
partnership with City Staff,
the Mayor and City Council,
we welcome the opportunity
to work with the two newest
Councilmembers, Christine Ellis and OD
Harris as they are both eager to explore
their vision for a better Chandler.
There are still challenges ahead, and
you’ll read about some of them in this
month’s edition of the Chamber CONNECT
magazine. However, no one has to navigate
those challenges alone. The Chamber board
and staff are here as your partner in the
fresh start for business success.

Welcome to the Chamber Team
Welcome Angie Vandine. Angie was raised in Seattle, Washington by an oil painter
and a carpenter. She learned early on the meaning of “we can make that ourselves and
we can make it better.” She has carried that belief throughout her life, always thinking
of ways to take something great and elevate it to what she calls “unicorn status.” As
the Digital Marketing and Events Manager at the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, she
keeps the Chamber’s eye on the horizon always seeking out new and innovative ways
to support her embers.

Her education includes graphic and web design, social media marketing, and print production. She brings
with her years of chamber experience and a passion to help facilitate the growth and prosperity of local
businesses and communities.
Her family is chock-full of ASU Sun Devils. Her oldest a graduate, her youngest a current student and she is
currently working towards her Graphic Information Technology Degree at ASU.
