BURGER KING TOOFFER FRIED CHICKENBurger Thailand, the companythat operates the Burger Kingbrand in Thailand, is embarkingon a plan to offer fried chickenitems on its menu. The newmenu items come under a branddubbed Chicken King at BurgerKing stores throughout the KingdomThe company is aiming totap into people’s healthier eatinghabits as well as to tap into thedemand for fried chicken evidentamongst Thai customers.Another objective is to enticepeople into Burger King outletswho might otherwise not haveventured into its stores. They canthen order fried chicken and alsoenjoy the other traditional offeringsof burgers and fries.Two fried chicken menu itemswill be launched initially, originaland spicy, with more added at alater date.General manager, TanawatDamnernthong, was quoted assaying, “At present, this menuis not available at Burger Kingworldwide.
