The new floor standing condensing gas
water heater, Moorea I, represents the
highest evolution stage within the middle
output range of gas fired condensing water
heaters.
The continuous development of floor standing
condensing water heaters has identified a smaller
foot print, improved modulation range and reduced
operating noise as key product features. Moorea I is
improved in all three areas.
Available in eight outputs; 170, 215, 260, 300, 400,
470, 540 and 610kW, the Moorea I is designed
with the customer, installer and specifier in mind.
Using the very latest heating technology with a
heat exchanger made from aluminium/silicon and
a combustion system which delivers exceptional
energy efficiency as well as advanced ultra low NOx
performance of 35mg/kWh (Class 5).

Application Examples
Cascade without
booster pump
Not to be used if there are
any high temperature circuits
60/80 °C (no instant DHW) the
motorised 2-channel valves
isolate the water heaters when
they are not operating. On
start up the water heaters are
blocked until their respective
isolating valves are fully open. The
Cascade function is integrated
and a BUS module just needs to
be added to each water heater
regulator.

Optimising the condensing
"Cold" returns are used more,
Thanks to the buffer tank, short
cycles at high temperature are
made smoother: loop losses, low
drawing. The time for the water
heater to reach its temperature
is covered by the buffer tank; the
tank's contents must be at least
2.5 l /kW of installed power at
high temperature.
