The new floor standing condensing gas<br />

water heater, <strong>Moorea</strong> I, represents the<br />

highest evolution stage within the middle<br />

output range of gas fired condensing water<br />

heaters.<br />

The continuous development of floor standing<br />

condensing water heaters has identified a smaller<br />

foot print, improved modulation range and reduced<br />

operating noise as key product features. <strong>Moorea</strong> I is<br />

improved in all three areas.<br />

Available in eight outputs; 170, 215, 260, 300, 400,<br />

470, 540 and 610kW, the <strong>Moorea</strong> I is designed<br />

with the customer, installer and specifier in mind.<br />

Using the very latest heating technology with a<br />

heat exchanger made from aluminium/silicon and<br />

a combustion system which delivers exceptional<br />

energy efficiency as well as advanced ultra low NOx<br />

performance of 35mg/kWh (Class 5).<br />

Cascade without<br />

booster pump<br />

Not to be used if there are<br />

any high temperature circuits<br />

60/80 °C (no instant DHW) the<br />

motorised 2-channel valves<br />

isolate the water heaters when<br />

they are not operating. On<br />

start up the water heaters are<br />

blocked until their respective<br />

isolating valves are fully open. The<br />

Cascade function is integrated<br />

and a BUS module just needs to<br />

be added to each water heater<br />

regulator.<br />

Optimising the condensing<br />

"Cold" returns are used more,<br />

Thanks to the buffer tank, short<br />

cycles at high temperature are<br />

made smoother: loop losses, low<br />

drawing. The time for the water<br />

heater to reach its temperature<br />

is covered by the buffer tank; the<br />

tank's contents must be at least<br />

2.5 l /kW of installed power at<br />

high temperature.<br />
