Eurogen Condensing Water Heaters are
distinguished by their engineering excellence and
superior design features. Manufactured in Europe
by Unical and exclusively distributed in Australia by
AHG, Eurogen provides a premium high efficiency
heating solution built for performance and longevity.
Its durability can be attributed to its full 316 Stainless
Steel combustion chamber and heat exchanger,
while its high efficiency is derived from its three pass
design and unique, patented heat transfer system.
Available in output ranges from 200kW to 2160kW,
Eurogen Condensing Water Heaters constitute a
range of reverse-flame condensing water heaters
which fully conform to Australian Standards and
are manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel .
The third pass of exhaust gases is through stainless
steel tubes fitted with aluminium fins to maximise
heat exchange. The water heater includes low
temperature (Rbt) and high temperature (Rat)
connections to keep return water temperatures as
low as possible to maximise condensing benefit.
Together with very low standby and chimney losses,
net efficiencies of up to 109% can be achieved. Two
return water connections are available allowing the
differentiation of high or low temperature return
water to create the optimum efficiency result
depending on the application.

Eurogen Condensing Water Heaters
Features
• High efficiency condensing water heater ≤ 109%
Nett. Exceptional heat transfer is achieved via the
patented multi radial flue gas fins. Eurogen also
incorporates 100 mm heat insulation to minimise
radiation losses.
• Balanced combustion chamber geometry for
rapid heat transmission and clean and complete
combustion.
• Dual fuel burner configurations are available
• Compact footprint and versatile design - three
pass flue gas exhausts in two cylindrically arranged,
stacked water heater drums. The 860mm water
heater width (up to EG570) allows ease of plant
room access and installation and the door can be
hinged as right or left handed.
• Large water volume provides good thermal
stratification and allows the system to operate with
just one primary pump, thereby reducing power
usage.
• Variable water flow allows varying of the water
flow rate to match the combustion rate of the
burner. As the burner modulates from high fire to
low fire, the water flow can be varied from high
to low. This maintains a constant ΔT through the
water heater. Whether 20° or 30° ΔT is required,
this can be maintained through all phases of
combustion by varying the water flow to match the
burner modulation. This maximises the amount of
heat extracted from the flue gases and thereby
increases efficiency.

The Eurogen Condensing Fire Tube Water Heater combustion process is designed to maximise efficiency
and performance. The hot combustion gases first pass down the centre and return along the wall of the
combustion chamber. On reaching the specially contoured door of the water heater the gases are directed
down into the stainless steel condensing tubes which comprise the heat exchanger and feature aluminium
internal fins designed to maximise heat extraction.
