<strong>Eurogen</strong> Condensing Water Heaters are<br />

distinguished by their engineering excellence and<br />

superior design features. Manufactured in Europe<br />

by Unical and exclusively distributed in Australia by<br />

AHG, <strong>Eurogen</strong> provides a premium high efficiency<br />

heating solution built for performance and longevity.<br />

Its durability can be attributed to its full 316 Stainless<br />

Steel combustion chamber and heat exchanger,<br />

while its high efficiency is derived from its three pass<br />

design and unique, patented heat transfer system.<br />

Available in output ranges from 200kW to 2160kW,<br />

<strong>Eurogen</strong> Condensing Water Heaters constitute a<br />

range of reverse-flame condensing water heaters<br />

which fully conform to Australian Standards and<br />

are manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel .<br />

The third pass of exhaust gases is through stainless<br />

steel tubes fitted with aluminium fins to maximise<br />

heat exchange. The water heater includes low<br />

temperature (Rbt) and high temperature (Rat)<br />

connections to keep return water temperatures as<br />

low as possible to maximise condensing benefit.<br />

Together with very low standby and chimney losses,<br />

net efficiencies of up to 109% can be achieved. Two<br />

return water connections are available allowing the<br />

differentiation of high or low temperature return<br />

water to create the optimum efficiency result<br />

depending on the application.<br />

Supplied with 1:5 modulating power burners.<br />

<strong>Eurogen</strong> Condensing Water Heaters<br />

Features<br />

• High efficiency condensing water heater ≤ 109%<br />

Nett. Exceptional heat transfer is achieved via the<br />

patented multi radial flue gas fins. <strong>Eurogen</strong> also<br />

incorporates 100 mm heat insulation to minimise<br />

radiation losses.<br />

• Balanced combustion chamber geometry for<br />

rapid heat transmission and clean and complete<br />

combustion.<br />

• Dual fuel burner configurations are available<br />

• Compact footprint and versatile design - three<br />

pass flue gas exhausts in two cylindrically arranged,<br />

stacked water heater drums. The 860mm water<br />

heater width (up to EG570) allows ease of plant<br />

room access and installation and the door can be<br />

hinged as right or left handed.<br />

• Large water volume provides good thermal<br />

stratification and allows the system to operate with<br />

just one primary pump, thereby reducing power<br />

usage.<br />

• Variable water flow allows varying of the water<br />

flow rate to match the combustion rate of the<br />

burner. As the burner modulates from high fire to<br />

low fire, the water flow can be varied from high<br />

to low. This maintains a constant ΔT through the<br />

water heater. Whether 20° or 30° ΔT is required,<br />

this can be maintained through all phases of<br />

combustion by varying the water flow to match the<br />

burner modulation. This maximises the amount of<br />

heat extracted from the flue gases and thereby<br />

increases efficiency.<br />

accommodates lower return water temperatures<br />

The <strong>Eurogen</strong> Condensing Fire Tube Water Heater combustion process is designed to maximise efficiency<br />

and performance. The hot combustion gases first pass down the centre and return along the wall of the<br />

combustion chamber. On reaching the specially contoured door of the water heater the gases are directed<br />

down into the stainless steel condensing tubes which comprise the heat exchanger and feature aluminium<br />

internal fins designed to maximise heat extraction.<br />
