RCCG Mercyland feeds 1000
families, tasks congregants

Redeemed Christian
Church of God Mercyland
Parish, Area 3 (Lagos Province
44) has donated food
items to no fewer than 1,000
families within its neighborhood
in a bid to alleviate their
suffering.
The items which include
1,000 (5kg) premium quality
parboiled bags of rice, 1,000
(1kg) bags of salt and other
food items is in tandem with
the Christian Social Responsibility
mandate from the
General Overseer of the
Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare
Adeboye according to Pastor
Amos Emovon, the Pastor in
Charge of the Province.
Emovon, during a presentation
on Sunday in the
Church Auditorium at Odunlami
Street, Lagos Island
charged all congregants to
receive Jesus, the Bread of life
as He is the source of energy,
strength and everything that
money cannot buy even as
several souls were won into
the Kingdom to the Glory of
God.

reiterated that the RCCG “is
passionately committed to
fighting hunger and poverty

but Himself, and in Redemption
He has dealt with the disposition
of sin forever. All who
believe can claim total freedom
by reason of this. Through Redemption,
God undertakes to
deal with a man's past, and He
does it in two ways: by forgiving
him, and by making the
past a wonderful culture for the
future, the memories of which
must keep us from becoming
what we once were. Everything
that sin and Satan have ruined
is going to be reconstructed and
readjusted through the Redemption
of Lord Jesus Christ.
Death was the supreme work
of the Lord Jesus here on earth,
He came to die; His purpose
could be gained in no other way.
Sin involves the death penalty;
someone must bear it, either the
sinner or a suitable substitute.
There is no possibility of bribery
here at heaven’s court. The
atonement is the heart of Christianity,
atonement settles the sin
