I see two parakeets fly,<br />
I cannot help, but stop and wonder,<br />
If we’re all blessed with an ally.<br />
What would we have today,<br />
If we only got what we were thankful for, yesterday?<br />
Have you thanked your ally for being here,<br />
Or are you waiting for another day?<br />
A lone bench beneath a tree<br />
Sits at the end of the trail,<br />
Inscribed on it are the words,<br />
“Love makes a way.”<br />
