FEATURED ARTWORKS PC Manal Al Dhuhoori Sunrays I have been always fascinated by photos of the sky creating sunrays penetrating through the clouds. It was a winter evening, where the breeze was cold and the sky was cloudy, I went for a walk and there it was, a master piece created. I seized the opportunity and captured the moment. "The Ancestors" Every secret of life I know, I learned at their knees. The wisdom they left in me swirl with love and all I ever need. Mahfuzur Rahman Alia Bin Ali King of birds This painting from my art work collection showcases in all his/her glory. With its wings spread, the bird symbolises absolute freedom and independence. By using acrylic colors, the falcon stands out against the sky, and is almost protruding from the canvas. Size : 120X90 cm MAHFUZUR RAHMAN Art TIPS THE IDEA OF IMPRESSIONISM The idea of Impressionism drives my imagination to another level, the visual outcomes of breaking forms into small brushstrokes, which creates a visible mixture of colours. There is an immediacy and serenity I found in impressionism painting; with each brush stroke I seize the fleeting moments. I have found my inspiration for doing impressionism painting from “Vincent Van Gogh”. My fascination with landscape impressionism is because my soul and feelings are the mirrored image of every fleeting second I paint on my canvases. 74 May 2021 www.magzoid.com
