a publication dedicated to honoring and championing the exceptional work of artists. Our mission is to shine 

a spotlight on the hard work and dedication of these individuals, who are driving positive change and shaping 

a brighter future through their creativity. 

As the foremost luxury magazine in the creative realm of the MENA region, we are committed to fostering

Adel Mohammadi, a seasoned wood artist, brings over a

a legacy of craftsmanship, Adel applies his woodworking skills to 

design bespoke artworks, showcasing precision and attention to 

detail. Alongside his family-operated business, “Desert Frame and 

Glass LLC,” specializing in framing, Adel pioneers the fusion of art 

and furniture, utilizing innovative wood-cutting techniques. 

His key achievements include groundbreaking wood art inspired 

by the Mona Lisa, highlighting his mastery of angles and color tones. 

Adel collaborates with “Desert Frame and Glass,” enhancing framing 

capabilities with his woodworking expertise. Notable exhibition 

highlights include presentations at World Art Dubai 2023 and

dedicated artist, Akil was born in 1988 in Syria. He graduated 

from the Faculty of Fine arts in Aleo and currently lives in 

dubai.He has a summer studio in Mersin, Turkey, His assion 

for Arabic calligrahy began at a young age and until now he has 

been develoing this skill through hilosohical and intellectual means 

related to the letter’s Arabic and Islamic culture. 

He has articiated in several exhibitions worldwide and his artworks 

can be found in rivate collections in Syria, Lebanon, Kuwait, Saudi 

Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, USA, Austria, Germany, Britain, 

and Ireland. Akil’s artworks are based on Arabic musical ‘Maqams’, 

where he converts them from their audio attern to an otical attern. 

He exlains, «When I hear a voice inside of me, I try to hold all these 

moments of ecstasy and invert them into a letter, a word, an otical 

language.” Akil searches for an otical modern language for the 

Arabic letter.

Aladdin Abdeen, an award-winning self-taught Jordanian 

artist, transitioned from a career in business administration 

to pursue his natural artistic talent. His journey led him to 

explore traditional Arabic calligraphy, abstract art, and portraiture 

through painting. Since moving to the UAE in 2014, Aladdin has 

showcased his work in numerous group exhibitions, aiming to revive 

Islamic art and culture with a fresh perspective. 

Aladdin’s unique artistic style emerged through dedicated selfstudy 

and intensive practice. His commitment to presenting art 

differently sets him apart in various painting genres. His rich cultural 

heritage and surroundings in the UAE have profoundly influenced 

his art, especially in the realm of Arabic calligraphy, which is deeply 

rooted in Arab culture.

Ali Kashwani, a 25-year-old Emirati artist from Sharjah, is a 

graduate in Design from the American University of Sharjah. 

Currently pursuing a Master’s in Art History at Sorbonne 

University Abu Dhabi, he has participated in over 60 national events 

and exhibitions since 2012. Collaborating with cultural institutions 

like Abu Dhabi Culture and Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ali has showcased 

his talent globally, representing the UAE at Worldskills Abu Dhabi 

2017 and winning accolades at Emirates Skills 2017 and Dubai 

Sketch Battle 2019. Additionally, he conducts art workshops and 

collaborates with entities such as Sharjah Art Foundation and Dubai 

Expo 2020. 

Ali’s art style, influenced by various historical art movements, 

focuses on the human experience, inspired by Arabian culture, 

environment, and heritage.

Ana Liz Cordero’s art is deeply rooted in her Ecuadorian 

heritage and childhood experiences in the Incan settlements 

of Azuay and Cañar. She was inspired by the Incan people’s 

sustainable practices, their respect for nature, and their efficient 

use of resources. This connection led her to view art as a means of 

preserving the ecosystem and fostering unity between humans and 

the environment. 

Based in Dubai since 2019, Ana Liz incorporates elements from the 

UAE’s diverse landscapes into her art, embracing abstraction as a way 

to connect her Ecuadorian heritage with her current surroundings. 

Her work serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of humanity 

and nature, echoing Michelangelo’s belief that true art reflects 

divine perfection and the importance of caring for the environment.

Fazel Shams is a 42 years old artist from Iran. I graduated in 

the field of chemistry. Seven years ago I started this work as a 

self-taught, without knowing the principles of art. 7 years ago, 

when I was very disappointed and failed, I wrote a few lines on the 

dining table with a white board marker, as I always wrote to myself 

whenever I was sad or disappointed since I was a child , I posted a 

photo of that table on my personal Instagram. 

Some of my close friends laughed at me, but one person said 

I want this on canvas, but I didn’t know canvas, nor working with 

paint, I had never touched a brush until that day, I didn’t even have 

the money to buy the materials, and I wanted to say no, I can’t, but I 

didn’t know that a new chapter would start for me from here, I wrote 

that painting, which is an interesting story by itself, I am proud that I 

was on a path due to an event that I had no knowledge of. Today, this 

path means me, and I mean this path!

Ghaleb Hawila, Arabic Calligraphy Artist, born in 1992 in 

Borj el Chemali, Tyre, south of Lebanon. He studied Graphic 

Design as an undergraduate and then went on to study the 

classical art of Arabic calligraphy with acclaimed masters. 

Fascinated by the endless possibilities of this timeless art, Ghaleb 

seeks to approach it with a new eye. His work comes from deep 

understanding of Middle-Eastern heritage, spiritual paths, and 

continuous search for origin, cause and effect. His work “Nuqta” 

participated in The Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial 8th edition 2018, 

and then in 2020 at the French Institution in Beirut. His work on 

streets is now spread between the UK and Beirut and participated in 

a number of collective exhibitions. His work was also showcased in 

the Urban Art Biennale in Germany in 2018 and at the Dubai Opera 

in 2021 with the Khawla Art and Culture Foundation.

Khalil Abdul Wahid embarked on his artistic journey under 

the mentorship of Hassan Sharif at Al Marsam Al Hur 

during the 1980s. Inspired by this experience, he dedicated 

himself to both advancing his art and imparting knowledge to future 

generations. His commitment to education led him to teaching roles 

within the atelier and eventually to the position of Director of Fine 

Arts at Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. 

While education remained a significant focus, Abdul Wahid also 

pursued two distinct artistic paths. One involved creating vibrant 

paintings on dark backgrounds, displaying his mastery of color. The 

other path led him to delve into experimental videos that explored 

cultural and environmental themes, showcasing his versatility as an 

artist.

patterns and expressive colors. Over a decade in the UAE,

like Tokyo, Milano, London, Côte d’Azur, and Brussels. Her work has 

graced the pages of Forbes Magazine, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar ART, 

and Wired, receiving numerous accolades. 

Kristel is also a pioneer in adopting NFT technology into her 

art, making her the first established female artist from the Middle 

East to do so. She collaborates with world-renowned brands like 

Glenfiddich, Lenovo, Samsung, OnStar, Meta, Birkenstock, RedBull, 

One Off, and WIO Bank. Kristel’s art studio is located in Dubai’s Onyx 

Tower, where she hosts viewings of her latest paintings.
