<strong>Wigan</strong> Bandits<br />
How do you fancy trying sport state-side style and playing<br />
American Football? <strong>Wigan</strong> Bandits are an American<br />
Football team, and they are looking for new players and<br />
coaches to join their ranks.<br />
All teams are now recruiting so anyone aged from ages<br />
7-19, male or female, any shape, size and athletic ability<br />
are welcome! You won’t need any experience of playing<br />
American Football and all the equipment you will need<br />
is supplied.<br />
Subscription fees for U11s, U14s, U17s are only £5 a<br />
month and the U16s and U19s are only £10 a month with<br />
the full kit supplied.<br />
Games start in <strong>June</strong>, so there is still time to join and start<br />
training. Training takes place at Ashfield Park in Standish<br />
and Leyland Park in Hindley.<br />

Babies & Beyond<br />
The My <strong>Life</strong> charity, based at Thomson House Equestrian<br />
Centre in Standish, is hosting a course to help babies and<br />
small children to enjoy the great outdoors. The course will<br />
run on Tuesdays 8th-29th <strong>June</strong> between 10am-12pm.<br />
Sessions will take place in the beautiful orchard and are<br />
designed for children of all abilities. Activities include<br />
cloud watching, den building, making mud pies and<br />
meeting the animals. The cost is £10 per session for the<br />
family. Price includes coffee, juice and toast. For more<br />

Hip Hop<br />
If your child likes to dance, try out the new Hip Hop classes<br />
at St Anne’s Parish Centre in Shevington. The classes are<br />
run on Saturday mornings (10.30 & 11.30am) by the Carol<br />
Barton School of Dance, and offer a free taster session.<br />
Classes are suitable for all ages and take place in a relaxed<br />
