Dear Nomads,
Truly a privilege and an honour to be able to handover two awards, to two gentleman
that have been remarkable Nomads playing 1000 Nomads games between them. To Mr.
Jimmy Sales 550 games and Mr. Mike Swemmer 450 games your commitment and passion
towards this club is inspirational to say the least. These awards symbolize and
affirm the greatness that falls within this special club, to give to those less fortunate to
ourselves, to create long lasting friendships and to enrich the lives of everyone that we
come in contact with, this is Easterns Nomads.
With this special game we had 27 visiting Nomads in the field, to all these Nomads who
travelled from far and wide, we thank you and hope you had a most enjoyable day with
us.
To Benoni Lake Club, the Charmain Mr. Robbie Frank, the Captain Paul Slaven, Denise
Labuschagne (Financial Manager), Rachel Howard (Pro-Shop) and Julie Venner Restaurant
and catering, thank you for all your efforts enabling us to adequately celebrate this
auspicious occasion.
To my fourball, Paul Slaven (Captain of Benoni Lake Club), Neill Malherbe (National Vice
Charmain) and Mr. Neels Bezuidenhout (Past National Chairman), it was a great outing,
filled with great golf shots, horrific golf shots, and putting extravaganza from the host
club Captain Pau.
