+1 to sixth on the river in Women’s Division 1, their highest place in over a quarter
of a century. W2 bumped up yet again into Women’s Division 2, easily remaining the
highest women’s second boat on the river, and W3 bumped up three places overall.
In the meantime, M2 was bumped down two places, and M3 managed to maintain
its headship as the highest men’s third boat on the river, despite being bumped on all
four days of competition and being duly awarded ‘spoons’.
2016–17 marked another spectacular year for the rowing Wolves. With many
dedicated seniors remaining, and some novices to train, we look forward to sharing
our successes with you in the coming season.
