The Destiny of People ========================Jenn Zhu
important to the society or people around.
If we limit this subject to the life of one particular biological
person, then we may say people have completely no control
of his/her first possible destiny of this life, which is partially
decided by where they will be born. The fact of which family
they will give out their first cry and say hello to this world, is
going to make some suggestion about where their destiny
would be. Nobody can tell one person’s fate exactly at the
time they are born. Ancient Asian people tended to ask the
fortune tellers to tell the fate of the baby, especially if that
was a boy. That practice only manifested their adoration to
the children and great expectation to their future life, since
the family depended on the son to support the family and to
glorify their ancestors when they grew up. The sophisticated
fortune teller may be able to tell something of somebody
according to certain life patterns which is how statistics work
in this matter, and mostly likely would be to flatter the parents
who look for a good omen, and get some handsome reward
for doing that.
