Potentates’ Ball

This year’s ball, honoring
Illustrious Sir Kraig W. Leiby and
Lady Janet was held at the Double
Tree by Hilton in Reading on May
1st.
143 Nobles and Ladies attended
including, five Potentates from
Almas, Crescent, Jaffa, Osiris, and
Zembo Shrines. Also at the event
were four MASA officers including
the MASA President, Ill. Sir Johnnie
Bitzer along with the 1st, 2nd, and
3rd Vice Presidents. MASA Past
President Ill. Sir Keith A. McKnight,
from ZemZem, and Lady Eileen
were also present. Overall, it was
quite a tribute to Rajah and our 2021
Potentate Ill. Sir Kraig Leiby
The evening was light and
breezy with only one speech, a
short one at that, from Illustrious
Sir Kraig. There was lots of music
by We3, which was actually We3
plus 1. The rule of the evening was
laughter, dancing, with plenty of fun
and socializing, something we all
missed dearly during the long days
of the pandemic. Introductions were
handled by Greg Lewis, PP.
This was really a coming out
party for Rajah after a difficult year
and a half of COVID restrictions
and cancellations. Congratulations
to Illustrious Sir and Lady Janet,
Chief Aide Mic Frey and Lady
Beth, and all the Aides for creating a
memorable evening.
