Electric Cars at Speaker’s

Electric cars now seem to be
here to stay, but will they eventually
be able to replace all those
internal combustion engines, or
will they stay a niche option?
This event will explore the history
of the electric car and how
we got where we are, and then
the speaker, Tom Rose, will address
some of the key questions
people have about the transition,
including, are electric cars ready
and up to the job? What about
the costs involved? Can the grid
handle the increased load? Have
we just replaced one environmental
problem with another
one? How does the situation in
New Zealand compare to other
countries?

work alongside others on your

working electric wheels, benches
