WHAT TO DO, WHEN YOU NEED A DOCTOR ...
� Step 1:
Use the Internet or a telephone book to find a nearby general medicine
practice. When you call them to make an appointment, make sure that
the office will accept your insurance.
� Step 2 (for the publicly insured):
Take 10,- • cash with you to your appointment. This is a required fee
that will cover future doctor’s visits for a three-month period. That
means, if you visit the doctor again after three months, you will be
required to pay the fee again.
You must also take your insurance card!
� Step 3:
If you need to see a specialist, ask your general physician for a reference.
That way, you can visit the specialist for free. You can call the
specialist to make an appointment.
