Werner Aisslinger’s eminently sculptural handle evokes a sense
of motion away from the body and into the surrounding space.
The idea rose as he was contemplating the opposing sequences
of operations involved when opening and closing a door. Almost
as a by-product of this thought process, the shape was lent to an
evocative moulded-to-the-hand model that masterfully aligns with
the ‘Four-Point Guide to Good Grip’ devised by Otl Aicher.
