ASCOT UNITED LADIES Ascot United Ladies play in the Southern Region Women's’ Football League – the highest level at which they have competed. The Ladies’ section starts down at the junior level with a host of teams – beginning with mixed teams at U7 - rising through girls’ sides from U10 up to a senior Development (reserve) side playing in the Thames Valley League. The junior sides operate on Saturdays or Sundays, with the Seniors (First and Development) playing on Sunday afternoon. The first team are managed by Darrel Evans and coached by Alix Todd. SUNDAY DECEMBER 5th: Ascot United v Eastleigh in the Community (League, Racecourse, 2pm), Chinnor v Ascot United Reserves (League Cup, Chinnor, 2pm) Ascot United Ladies lost 2-0 at Abingdon Town – a result which leaves them in 5th place in the Southern Region Women’s Football League. Meanwhile, it’s getting crazy, but the Ascot United Ladies Reserves extended their winning sequence to 22 games. Captain Courtney Gibbons was on target as they won 1-0 at fellow title contenders Ruislip Rangers. The Reserves last tasted defeat in a 3-1 defeat at Abbey Rangers Reserves on 13th December 2020…and edged closer to a full year unbeaten.
